Supreme Court's Decision to End the 2020 Census Early

On Tuesday, October 13, The U.S. Supreme Court granted the Trump administration requests to halt the 2020 Census. Per U.S. Census Bureau guidelines, internet self-response will shut down at 6:00 AM on the morning of October 16 and the ability to respond by phone will end at 2:00 AM on October 16. Paper responses must be postmarked by Thursday, October 15. Enumerators will continue their nonresponse follow up efforts until the end of the day on Thursday, October 15.

Amid these fluctuations and changes, one thing remains true: It’s not too late to participate in the census. Please go to 2020census.gov or call 844-330-2020 to make sure you are counted today. Please urge your friends, family, and neighbors to respond to the census if they have not already done so.
